The servers were very helpful and they constantly checked that we were doing good. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing as it had a cozy and arty feel to it. The food was honestly very good for the price and the quantities of food were quite generous.

Nando’s at The Gate offers amazing food and has an outstanding staff! My son, E, is non-verbal with autism spectrum disorder, severe learning difficulties, ADHD, and sensory processing disorder, which can make things quite challenging most days. However, he loves his routine, and most of all, he adores going to Nando’s every Sunday. The team at Nando’s is exceptional when it comes to serving children with special needs, particularly Rebecca and Sid. They consistently go above and beyond for E and make us feel welcomed and safe. The atmosphere is incredibly inviting, and we feel like part of their family. No one bats an eyelid when E has difficult days or experiences meltdowns. Rebecca and Sid check in with us regularly to see if we need anything or if there’s any way they can help. This restaurant is perfect for families with children who have additional needs. For us, Rebecca and Sid create a safe environment where we don’t feel judged. Our food is always hot and of high quality, and I can’t fault the exceptional service. I’d like to share a couple of specific examples: One day, when E was having a particularly bad day and became agitated, Rebecca noticed us and immediately prepared one of the booths, placing olives on the table for E. On another occasion, Sid saw that E was upset and started getting our order ready for him. It’s these personal touches and the genuine care they provide that make their service outstanding. For E, Nando’s is a safe place where he is treated like royalty without fear of judgment. I also appreciate the option to order extra and pay at the table, as it allows us to leave as soon as we’re done without the stress of waiting—something E dislikes, especially when he’s ready to go.
Me and my boyfriend came today, the food was great and the service was amazing, especially Blake and Louise they were very attentive and quick and were lovely and welcoming will definitely be coming back
